  • This was called "Swaraj Round" in gud ol' days. Everything in Thrissur used to happen in or inside this round. That includes "Thrissur Pooram", one of the greatest shows on earth. The "Swaraj Round" girdles the Thekkinkad Maidan, in the centre of which is the famous "Vadukkumnathan" Temple.
