101 East Pennsylvania Ave (Northwest Improvement Company) (Roslyn, Washington)

A large commercial/retail, warehouse-style structure located at the NE corner of Pennsylvania Ave and Main St. in Roslyn, Washington. Erected in 1896 the building is currently home to Mountain Elegance Furniture, a complete furnishings and decor retail outlet that serves the greater area. From 1990 to 1995 the building was seen regularly on the critically acclaimed television series Northern Exposure, specifically as the fictional town of Cicely's only radio station KBHR. The raised sidewalk in front of the building overlooks the Coal Miners' Memorial.
