ICTS test track

During the late 1970s and early 1980s, the Ontario government funded the development of a small subway-like system known as "ICTS". After a series of sales and mergers, today the ICTS is known as the Bombardier "ART". This test track opened in 1982 to test the prototype vehicles, and when orders started rolling in, factories were built across the street to produce the production versions.
