Plovdivtsi Dam /U.C./

The Plovdivtsi Dam is designed as a year compensation reservoir intended to provide for potable water to settlements within the Rudozem and Madan Municipalities and some settlements in the Smolyan Municipality.

The main structures are, as follows:
● Plovdivtsi Dam:
○ Rock-fill Dam with central asphalt core;
○ Dam height - 52.25 m;
○ Crest length - 225.00 m;
○ Storage - 2.4 mio m3.
● Water intake tower with morning-glory spillway;
● Side-channel spillway;
