History

Bishop Conrad Senior Secondary School was founded in 1971 by Fr. Julian Pinto (Senior) with 12 students on the roll. It is one of the leading Co-educational institutions of Bareilly, affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The junior section (Class I to VII) is situated at the St. Alphonsus Cathedral Campus, 63 Cantt. This campus has been the foundation of the major schools in Bareilly like Hartmann College and St. Maria Goretti, which later branched off to their present location. The senior section (VIII to XII) is situated at 38, Cantt, Bareilly.



For the last 34 years, it has been a well sought after school, as it is known for its elite faculty, high-quality education, good discipline and finest participation in extra curricular activities. Presently, it caters to more than 3700 students with the dedicated efforts of 125 members of the teaching staff and 30 non-teaching employees.



Under the diligent efforts of all the administrative heads, hard work of the staff members, co-operation of the parents and the encouragement of the well wishers, Bishop Conrad Senior Secondary School, has attained the stature of being the largest school in the Diocese.
