Reidville, SC

Town with a population of 478 at the 2000 census. The town began to be settled in 1761. In 1772 the Nazareth Presbyterian Church was established here. In 1853 Rev. Robert Reid became minister of the church and was instrumental in founding a school that spurred local development. The town was chartered in 1887 and named after him.
