Cologno Monzese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 5 km north-east of Milan. Its population is 47689. The population increase took place after the World War II, when lots of immigrants from Southern Italy (especially from Apulia) settled here.
