  • Puce Ontario was not named after the popular colour... but rather it is an abbreviation of the town founder Gary Lakeshore's favourite meal, Pea Soup Sauce... PUCE was born!
  • Puce is French for flea. It's name is a joke on the size of the community. Also the bugs if you've ever been there in June.
