The 1st wartime photo looks north -- beautiful view -- and shows the route to Tuy Hoa, of course.
The 2nd wartime photo looks southwest -- on top of the distant ridge, note the US radar installation -- towards NHA, Nha Trang, and CRB, Cam Ranh Bay.
During 1966 and 67, I often piloted helicopters between Tuy Hoa and Nha Trang. I thought it was maybe the most beautiful coastal scenery in (then) South Vietnam.
I have not been back to this part of Vietnam yet.
