"four countries point", the point where up to 1919 the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the tiny territory of Neutral-Moresnet met. The latter was absorbed into Belgium in 1919, hence now it´s only a "Dreilandenpunt". The territory was based on a valuable Zinc mine that none of the large countries wanted another country to have. While none of the few thousand citizens of Moresnet had to serve in one of their neighbors national armies they were also "Stateless " people when they left their tiny land.
