Carrollton is the 2nd longest and 3rd oldest covered bridge still existing in WV. One of 2 remaining covered bridges in Barbour County. The bridge was completely renovated in 1962. Repairs were recently made to the bridge because of coal truck damage. The Carrollton bridge is in regular use.
