Kinar Village also known as Thiru kannar village is just 4km from Karunkhuzhi village, situated in NH45 from Chennai to Madurantakam. There is one big sivan temple in this village, which is also a padal petra stalam. The name of the sivan temple is Veera Vananathar or Veera Varanathar Swami. Most of the villagers are Thuluva vellalar Mudaliyar caste. Important occupation is Rice Farming. There is one Amman temple called Arulmigu Kalli Amman Temple which is also the family god for the villagers. Villagers do pooja and offering to this goddess before starting any work. The village is also bus route to Thirukazhukundram from Karunkhuzhi.
