KRCES was established way back in 1960 to provide the Higher Education to the Rural and Poor Students and has achieved it. The campus has been situated in the west of the Bailhongal Town in a wide area of 55 Acres donated by one of the founder member, Shrimant Inamdar of Khodanpur.

The Degree College has been accredited as B+ by the NAAC, India. The college has produced many gems to serve the nation in defence as well as in civil.
