Blue Mountain Lodge

USA / Virginia / Boyce / Cliff Road, 599

The BMHOA lodge has a Great room with a spectacular view (from a craggy cliff) of a broad valley and the north end of Massanutten (Signal Knob), railed walk-around deck, big kitchen, small dining room (heated), restroom, caretaker, water, & electricity. No phone, bunks, showers, nor general heating.
The lodge was originally a misconceived French Resort Restaurant (hillbilly country, no paved road, no liquor license, no backers, no patrons). The nearest paved road is half a mile away.
Road access is Rt 638, from the south (Linden) on Freezeland Road, and from the west (Howellsville) on Blue Mountain Road.
