Snezhinsk (Russian: Снежинск) is a closed town in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. It was founded in 1957, and was known as Chelyabinsk-70 until 1991. Town status granted in 1993. Population: 50,451 (2002 Census).

Snezhinsk is one of two centers of Russian nuclear weapons design (the other one is Sarov) and is built around a major scientific research institute—"All-Russian Scientific Research Center of Technical Physics—Federal Nuclear Center".
