A charity society run by local Chinese in the past, was once the largest hall in Malacca. It was used to be a regional headquarter for Japanese army during the Japanese occupation period. This building has been vacant all the time due to downfall of the charity association. Occasionally its hall is rent for mobile Chinese bookfair whereas its performance stage serves some China acrobatic groups.

This charity society owned a well known local acrobatic cyclist group in the heydays.
