Cape of Rodon

 cape (geography), interesting place, invisible

The Cape of Rodon (Albanian: Kepi i Rodonit) is a tiny peninsula situated on the Adriatic Coast between the districts of Durrës and Lezha.
In this bay, visitors will find two interesting historical monuments.
The first is the ruins of the old Skanderbeg Castle which was built as a fortress against the invading ottoman armies trying to conquer the north.
The second interesting monument is the 12th century church of Shën Anton where the oldest frescos of Albania's national symbol, the Double Headed Eagle are painted inside its murals.
