In a fitting tribute to Guruchand Thakur, the great saintly social reformer of the down-trodden people, this poor little village has proudly produced 2 IAS officers, one engineering doctorate and Commonwealth scholar,2 University first-class-first, one MBBS, and 2 IAS allied - all in a single generation!
