In 1924 the local master Dimitar Georgiev came back from studying in a famous German luthier school and opened his own small workshop. He put everything most valued in the European violin-making tradition in it, thus laying the foundations of what was to become the Kremona Factory. The factory, which is working at full capacity to this day, welcomes visitors and offers a visiting tour of the workshops and a demonstration of both the work process and the ready instruments.
