The complex, constructed in 1986, by a group of Officers of Geological Survey of India. Officers from MECON, SAIL, CGWB and others have also joined in the ventrue. It was one of the foremost Apartent complexes in the area. It is the only complex which has large open area and unique layout of apartments. It is not exaggeraion to say that it is the complex which has not displayed any board, saying "visitor vehicles not allowed". The complex did not have any water problem so far. The complex is relatively well maintained since beginning. The society organises number of social activities including Independance Day and Republic Day.

  • This Apartment complex was built twenty years ago, by employees of GSI, MECON, NMDC and other departments under Ministry of Steel and Mines. This complex is a cozy place for living. Many owners of this complex are retired and their children are living abroad.
  • But unfortunately, its known for other activities now. Once it was a nice place when i was a kid.
  • Still, it is a nice place to live in even after 25 years. Many kids have spent their golden time here. Even now many kids are spending lovely time here. We still celebrate New Year Day, Vinayaka Puja, Ind. Day, etc. in an excellant atmosphere. We are very happy here. People who have good living spaces outside also prefer to stay in this complex. We have a comfortable open space around the complex, enough for leisure walking, sitting, kids' playing, arranging functions, etc.
  • It is a calm and serene place where one can live in peace. My retired parents have been living in Steel and Mines complex for some years and they continue to enjoy every moment.
  • The Complex needs repair works and painting to get a fresh look
