Massies Mill (Nelson County), VA - small unincorporated community that was in the center of the flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Camille on August 19, 1969. Rainfall was calcuated to be 27 inches in 3 hours. The entire county was devistated by flooding on the Tye and Rockfish river.
