Glenvista is a suburb in southern Johannesburg. There are meerkats and guinea fowl that still run wild. It is surrounded by natural thorn bushes and veld. In extension 5, there is a 72 par golf course in the dip of a valley. The houses and properties can be large. The neighbourhood is quite safe by South African standards. It is situated close to a shopping centre, The Glen.
