A Catholic Brothers Missionary School, SJI is an Institution of the De la Salle Brothers.
The school has a long heritage of Josephians with the motto of Ora et Labora (pray hard, work hard).
This is the second site of SJI. The first site is now known as the Singapore Arts Museum in the Singapore Civic District
