There are many Lord Datta (Dattatreya) Temples in Vadodara, but the well-known is situated in the compounds of Kirti Mandir. Kuberji Temple name is derived from a Servant’s namely Kuber, who worked for Gaekwad State and came from Uttar Pradesh.
When he died, the Datta Temple was made in compound of Kirti Mandir and temple was named Kubereshwar Dutt Mandir (Temple). It was then fully made in Year 1954.
The Temple celebtrates Maha-Pooja at Datta-Jyanti Day. The Temple’s design is simple and is made from Yellow-sand and rocks.
