One of the best restaurants in the city. Has been around for over 50 years, and is a Chiang Mai institution. Check it out on Anthony Bourdain's 'A Cooks Tour' show. Make sure to order from the Thai specialties page in the menu for the best stuff. Som Tam, Chiang Mai pork curry and Chiang Mai sausage are a must to try. You can also try asking for something 'special' from the kitchen, if you dare. Don't let the occasionally gruff service scare you away - they're not as serious as you might think. :) Joy and Jack, the sisters that run the place are truly wonderful people who put a lot of love and care into the place.
