The old Haveli was built by late Rao Ishwar (Pronounced Issar), who had migrated to Nandgaon from Rasulpur village(Mahendragarh district) with his younger brother Rao Gauri. This is said to be the first pucca haveli in the entire village. It is a known fact that Rao Ishwar had built the first irrigation well at Jhalari, which was extensively used by all villagers to meet their domestic portable water requirements as well. The old Haveli stands testimony to the influence the BALWAN family enjoyed in the region.
