A wetlands preservation organization. Its purpose is to protect the seasonal wetlands and floodplain at the confluence of the Great Miami and Ohio Rivers from development. Oxbow, Inc. pursues this goal by raising funds to purchase land and conservation easements in the floodplain. Oxbow owns about 260 acres of the floodplain in Indiana and owns easements on another 260 acres of farm land.
