North Dakota State hosted five North Central Conference championship track and field meets at the Schlanser Track between 1997 and 2004, and the complex has also played host to the North Dakota Special Olympics and professional soccer exhibitions. The running track has a Pro-Turf surface over all nine lanes and is 400 meters in length. Bleachers for up to 3,500 spectators, formerly at longtime NDSU football home Dacotah Field, line both sides of the track and natural-grass field. Restrooms and a concession stand are housed between the track and softball diamonds, and there is a soccer scoreboard above one end of the field.
