627 Ninth Avenue (New York City, New York)

5-story residential building completed sometime in the late 1800s. The 3-bay facade is clad in red brick above a wood-and-glass storefront. There is a narrow metal door to the upper floors on the right, and an entrance to the basement level at the left, down several steps. The upper floors have green-metal-framed windows with the cornices removed. A green metal fire escape runs down the north two bays of the facade, which is topped by a brick roof parapet with stone coping. The ground floor is occupied by Rudy's Bar & Grill.
