Sri NIMISHAMBA DEVI TEMPLE built by the sri somavamsa arya kshatriya community chitrakara. Dewan Purnaiah brought chitrakar from turuvekere in tumkur district to Ganjam, amongst them Sri Rayappa / Thippanna grandfather of sri k kesavaiah were all artists of the mysore palace.
