Tiwana (ਟਿਵਾਨਾ, ٹوانہ) is a Punjabi caste that hails from the Punjab region of Pakistan and India. Tiwana is a Jat and Rajput clan. Tiwanas from Punjab in India are Sikhs, while Tiwanas from Punjab in Pakistan are Muslim Rajputs such as Malik Umar Hayat Khan.


Malik Umar Hayat Khan:-
Major General Nawab Sir Malik Mohammed Umar Hayat Khan GBE KCIE LVO (1875-1944), was a soldier of the Indian Empire, one of the largest landholders in the Punjab, and an elected member of the Council of State of India. He was also called Sir Malik Umar Hayat Khan Tiwana.

Personal Career & Interests Rana Muhammad Arshad son of Ch Buland Khan was born on January 13, 1970 at Shahkot. He graduated from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He served as Member, District Council during 1998-99 and as Nazim, Union Council during 2002-08. A businessman and an educationist, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in bye elections 2008 and is functioning as Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism. He has travelled to UK and Saudi Arabia.

  • Dear all, Really its is a wonderfull place to live,the community of this village is so great.The new generation is so active and always trying find out some thing to laugh and make fun.It is so closed to Teh:shahkot and almost every things is available.Elders of this Village having more patientant than new Generation. Speicial Foods of this Village. Delicious Pakora Soomoosa Birfey Milk(Khalis Muskill Sa Milta hai) Aur Dayhe is delicious. ....................... The Negative things of this Village New Generation are mostly Job less Involved in taking drugs and selling Drugs. Milk Main Pani Bohit Mix Kirtay Hai. ...................................
