Chocolate House was built in 1880 in the style of the Venetian Renaissance to Kiev childless first guild merchant timber merchant and metsenata Semena Semenovicha Mogilevtseva, postroenny talantlivym arhitektorom Vladimirom Nikolaevichem Nikolaevym. Kievans know this house is painted in monochrome chocolate color. In fact, initially there were several different color of coffee and chocolate tones.
