this is a very good watching point to be close to nature. it is situated amidst the ponthanpuzha forest which situated in kottayam and pathanamthitta districts. There is nothing but the forest. It is a beautiful site. Forest department has created a path to watch nature. It is a 3km long walkway. No vehicle would go.

deeper in the forest there is another place called 'sankupathalam'
