One of the more famous landmarks of Tezpur. Famous island park in the middle accessible by a wooden footbridge. At different points of time there has been water recreation facilities (paddle/rowing boats) for hire on this lake. Padum Pukhuri, literally means lotus pond, is a famous lake with an island in Tezpur. The island is converted into a park with a musical fountain. The park is connected with the mainland by means of an iron bridge. Toy Train is another attraction here.
