This village is known as Padekarwadi,which is subpart of Main Village called Maloshi.
The villagers are of Hindu Maratha community having surname Pawar.There is a temple of Waghjai Devi as you entre in the village.The goddess is very powerful.There are many villagers who follows Mahanubhav & Nirankari Panthas also.Every year on third day after Mahashivaratri villagers organises Jatra having Goddess Palakhi on first day between 10 pm to 11:30pm.Its nice place to visit where you can see good nature,varities of birds, the dam(under construction),wind mills etc.
