An historic Staffordshire Hall standing in delightful grounds, separate leisure suite including swimming pool and two semi detached cottages, in all extending to around 20 acres.

The property is situated in a delightful setting with stunning views of gardens, grounds and countryside beyond. It lies within easy access of A34 and A51 with only a short distance to the north of the pretty canal town of Stone. Within easy reach of the M6 which provides excellent access to Birmingham, Manchester, national motorway network and M6 Toll.

The Property Meaford Hall is an imposing country residence with considerable history. The Hall dates back to the late 17th century when the Estate was acquired by William Jervis of Chatcull. It remained at the heart of the Jervis family for well over approx. 250 years and it was the birthplace of Admiral John Jervis, later 1st Earl St Vincent, hero of the defeat of the Spanish at the Battle of Cape St Vincent in 1797.

We understand the Hall was extended and refurbished by Lady Forester, daughter of Edward Jervis Jervis, 2nd Viscount St Vincent in the late 19th century. The house was sold in 1943 and occupied by a variety of groups which include the United States Forces. After a period of unoccupation and neglect the Hall was restored by a new owner and reopened around 1997.

The house has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme and is now appointed and presented to an extremely high standard and offers truly outstanding accommodation throughout.

The property occupies a most attractive site of about 20 acres and incorporates spacious refurbished Cottages with private gardens and garages and separate access. The leisure suite incorporates the swimming pool, gymnasium, entertainment room and garaging for four cars. Stunning grounds which also include a stream, waterfall, woodland areas and accessed by a long well maintained drive which is approached by two separate gated entrances.
