  • Most of the park, and the area immediately east was known as Fuchu Air Station and was the headquarters of US Forces Japan and the USAF's 5th Air Force. My first USAF duty assignment from 1958-1962.
  • Access 10 minute walk from Keio line Higashi Fuchu station going NW direction. The park has an art theater, art museum, tennis courts, bbq area and a jogging course. This multi use friendly park and can handle families, couple on a date and only you of course. It has a noteworthy cherry tree arcade running the length of the park which comes into full bloom glory around April 1.
