The Beaumont Reserve Fleet is maintained in Beaumont, Texas as part of the National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF) and is maintained by the US Maritime Administration (MARAD).

The primary use of the Beaumont Fleet is to store inactive drybulk general cargo and liquid bulk ships for use in the case of National Emergency or war, mainly due to the proximity to the oil production and distribution ports and established military depots located around the Gulf of Mexico. The fleet also hosts decommissioned US warships awaiting scrapping, reefing, use for target practice or foreign sale.
