The only town of any size within a 50 mile radius. Home to University of Wales and National Library. Three bays look great from Constitution Hill, to the north of the town. Ride up on the Cliff Railway, see the view through the camera obscura (really good!) and then walk down onto the promenade - a mile or so to the castle ruins and then another half mile to the harbour. Bracing in stormy weather. Beautiful sunsets across Cardigan Bay. Plenty of Welsh speakers to be found in the shops to practise your pronunciation.
