History of Nallur Jain temple:
A statue of “Adghi Bhagawan” was founded Nallur after heavy flood in this area approximately some 250 years ago. According to the research by archeologist it was believed to be a 6th or 7th century statue. This village was called as “Sallipuram” then and now it is known as Nallur.
Initially people here worshipped the Aadhi Bhagawan, keeping the statue under roof. After some months people decided to construct new temple for “Aadhi Begawan. The entire construction itself took 25 years to complete. After successful construction of the temple “Pancha Kalyanam” is celebrated on a frequent basis.
History of the samovasaranam pancha kalyanam temple.
The temple is located facing eastwards with an area of 210 square meters. This area is covered with a compound wall of 10 feet height. This temple was built in early 1950’s with roof type like madras terrace. The specialist of this temple is it’s a rare of its kind in Tamilnadu. All the statues were made of marbles brought from Rajasthan.

This is also was built in early 1950’s. The Speciality of this temple is all the Navagraha’s are made with “Pancha Logam”. This is also a rare of its in Tamilnadu.
Now the ceilings of Samovasaranam temple, Navagraha temple and compound wall are in worst condition. So we decided to renovate the temple with the below Estimstes and also we have decided to construct a new temple for the “Yakshini” of Adheeshwara Baghawan “Sri Chakkreaswari Amman”. A tower above this Amman temple is also under our plan.
