After many wanderings, the relics of St. John arrived on the island of Evvia, the current city Procopius. Here was a new church, whose construction was completed in 1951 and which today houses the coffin with holy relics that spring to all who run with the help of the Holy Faith, inexhaustible river of healing and relieve the sufferings of body and soul.
Commemoration of St. John commits every year on 27 May.
