  • Aar ami 1966 Higher Secondary batch. I have even seen Mr J. C. Hensman. We had an old building -- 'the Roybagan building' where the Hensman block now stands . I am glad that even after so many years you all feel equally nostalgic about your beloved school. I feel the same way. I was the Best All Round Boy in 1965-66 and still feel proud about it. We had three JBNSTS scholars from our batch.

  • I graduated in 1949 (Matriculation,nowadays called Madhyamik). So very sorry to say, I lost touch with all my school friends. I think of some of them every now and then. Mr. Hensman was our head master and Mr A.K.Roy was the assistant. I was a well-above-average student(but not in the topmost rank)and was quite involved with sports(particularly in football). I have been living abroad since 1956, after finishing my education successfully under Calcutta University, and went on to further higher education in Britain. I am well into my retirement now after working as engineer(metallurgy) and professor in Canada. I visit Kolkata every few years to see my relatives. Our school was one of the top five in those days, and was well known for discipline. I hear the things are not that good nowadays, but as far as I am concerned, that was the best school in Calcutta(Kolkata now).Please excuse me for being a little verbose.

  • I am a ex student of The Scottish Church Collegiate School... I was in 2002 madhyamik batch ... In my time Mr. A.D.Bar was the headmaster.. I really miss those school days .. Now I'm detouched with most of the school friends ... I really miss those teachers like srikanta babu, Pradip Babu, Diptiprakash Babu,Subrata babu and many more .. I feel proud to think that I was a part of this school ... Miss You all .........
