Roslyn, Washington

Roslyn is a city in Kittitas County, Washington, United States. The population was 893 at the 2010 census. Roslyn in located in the Cascade Mountains, about 80 miles east of Seattle. It was founded in 1886 as a coal mining town, and has the second oldest continuously operating tavern in Washington State, named "The Brick", after being rebuilt out of 45,000 of them. From 1990 to 1995, it was used as a film backdrop for the fictitious town of Cicily, Alaska on the television series Northern Exposure.
