Webers Hamburgers is a fast-food take out restaurant located on Highway 11, just north of Orillia, Ontario. Created by Paul Weber Sr. in 1963, it stands today as an Ontario landmark to cottage goers and the travelling public, and is always busy. The property offers a relaxing outdoor area as well as several railway cars in which to dine. The highway, once traversed by pedestrians parked on the other side, was blocked off by a fence in 1982 for safety reasons. To facilitate southbound commuters and cottagers cut off, the first and only privately owned bridge ever built over a public highway in Ontario was purchased and installed by Webers the following year.
