Manchester Piccadilly station, known locally as just Piccadilly, is the principal railway station of Manchester in England. Piccadilly is the busiest major station in England outside London for passenger usage (Glasgow Central, Scotland is busier). it also has the highest customer satisfaction level of any other UK station with 92% of passengers satisfied with the station (national average was 60%).

  • Formerly London Road Station. Terminus of the London & North Western Railway. Engine shed is Victorian, frontage is 1960s. Recently modernized - not badly done either.
  • Manchester's largest station. Terminus for services to London, also to Sheffield and Chester. Some trains continue west, calling at Oxford road. Also terminus of most Metrolink services.
  • Lovely station - nicely modernised while retaining it's Victorian image. Not like Birmingham's which is replaced by concrete. XD
