This shrine was built by Musahab-ud-Daula Sahib on 17 acres land of a lady Bi Misri Sahiba, during the nawabi period of lucknow. The original shrine was destroyed by the time & only the platform was left, Now the new shrine is constructed over the same platform. This new structure has a dome and 12 doors (3 doors on each of its 4 sides). This is the only place in Lucknow, where one can find the soil from the original and pious graves of all eleven IMAMS of shia's faith. The idea behind the construction of this Holy Shrine was to give access to those people who are unable to visit the holy Shia Shrines in the gulf regions.
