Station on Kyiv Metro's Obolonsko-Teremkivska Line. The station was opened on December 19, 1980 in the Petrivka neighbourhood of the Podilskyi Raion of Kyiv near Petrivka railway station.

February 8, 2018 Kyiv City Council renamed the metro station Petrivka to Pochaina.
The decision of the Kyiv City Council to rename the metro station Petrivka in Pochaina came into force on February 23, 2018.

The station is located shallow underground and consists of a central hall with columns. The walls along the tracks are covered with yellow marble and decorated with two abstract reliefs. Hanging above one of the entrances into the station's hall is a colourful mosaic. The station is accessible by passenger tunnels; the northern one leading to a square, the southern one — to the Petrivka Railway Station
