Three day pop festival two weeks after Woodstock, 1969. Featured Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Santana, Chicago, B B King, Sprit, Sweetwater, Freddie King, Johnny Winter, Tony Joe White, Ten Years After, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, Rotary Connection, Incredible String Band, Canned Heat, Space Opera, Shiva's Headband, The Quarry, James Cotton Blues Band, Sam & Dave, Sly & the Family Stone and Nazz. It was where Wavy Gravy got his name. Furthur and the Merry Pranksters and the Hog Farm were part of it. It was a blast! A hippie paradise right on the outskirts of what was then a tiny Lewisville, Texas!
