in the village there are two religions-hinduism(tribals) and christianity.most of the villagers are daily wage laborers.it is the panchayat headquarter.there are 2 schools in this village.MR.PRASANT KUMAR PATRO is the headmaster in-charge of JELC primary school.He is a resource person in SSA/DPEP.this school is the model school of Koraput block and it is also an educational visitors' place.By the support of BRCC sri Rath,and community this school became a model school. |
