The World Day of the Post is on 9th of October. In 2007 on this day the renovated statue by Soproni Stöcker Károly was placed here in front of the biggest post office in Székesfehérvár.
It is only statue about postman in Hungary.
(Ferenc Rákóczi II. prince was the leader of the Hungarian war of independence 1703-1711.)
